Restrict JIRA story transitions for certain conditions.

Question

Hello,

In our organization we want to implement a practice where story cannot be transitioned to “in progress” until the epic is also transitioned to “in progress”.

we want have this validation logic executed whenever somebody change the  status of stories.

Can you please help us on this?
