I followed the guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/running-confluence-over-ssl-or-https-161203.html . The server.xml has the connector section pertaining to port 8443 commented out... I have my cert and keystore installed to the keystore.. I changed my base url to be https://atlassian:8443 , however, I'm unable to access the Confluence site at that url. I have to go back to the old URL of http://atlassian:8090 . Any ideas?
Never mind... I created my .pfx file via my Microsoft CA.. I then exported it to a .pem and made a Cert, private key, and CA cert file.. I then combined them into a keystore, however, I didn't update the server.xml with the location of my keystore file.. Once I did that SSL worked just fine.
