Confluence docker raise to 100% CPU usage when GitLab docker running

I am using Confluence docker (atlassian/confluence-server) and GitLab docker (gitlab/gitlab-ce).

When GitLab is not running, Confluence uses less than 10% CPU. However, when GitLab start running, Confluence CPU usage continue to raise until 100% and not responding. I run ps aux to confirm it is Confluence (java) not GitLab using the CPU.

Do anyone know why is this happening? and how to fix it?

It sounds like resource contention. Does the Docker container meet the minimum hardware requirements for Confluence and still have plenty of resources allocated to GitLab? In some virtualization platforms we have seen Confluence CPU spikes when there are not enough resources, as described in CPU Usage Spikes to 100 percent on Virtual Server and Confluence Becomes Unavailable
