I am using JIRA 4.1.2 and Confluence 3.5.6. We have a JIRA cascading select field that we are displaying Confluence using the jiraissues macro. The numeric number (id) of the selection is shown in Confluence.
This appears to be a bug in JIRA and the Confluence JIRA Macros plugin. I have created a bug report at https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/CONFJIRA-231 to address this issue. Hope this helps!
