Anchors don't work

Anchor macross on pages doesn't work. No matter if the table of contents is present on page.

On my instance I have to put the page name in the URL, like: /pages/viewpage.action?pageId=2949122#Anchors!0)-anchor1 Mine won't work if I use: /pages/viewpage.action?pageId=2949122#anchor1

It's doing pretty much nothing. Links like this one:

pages/viewpage.action?pageId=2031742#anchor-name

should get me to the position of an anchor, but they don't.

It does not

The anchor is inserted via macros menu

Hi Arkadiy,

I just tried an anchor macro on my Confluence 6.8 server test instance and the link to the anchor worked.

Please let me know more:

* what are the anchors doing that is unexpected?
* does it matter which browser you use?
* what steps are you taking to insert the anchor and link to it?
