How can I see my comments after my requested changes have been made in Confluence?

I am asked to provide comments to documents in Confluence, and my comments appear next to the highlighted text.

Once the developer has made my requested change, the document version is updated and my comments are no longer visible. How do I view the document AND see my comments, with the corrected text? Sometimes the developer changes the text to something other than what I want, and I can't see what I originally said to go back to them with additional fixes.

Hi @Rob H ,

There's no way to correct a place where an inline comment was made without deleting it with native comments. If you consider the apps, the Talk app for Confluence addresses your case. The talk comments on the page are highlighted with a megaphone icon. In edit mode, you can move the icon to another place to save the required edits in case the place where an inline comment was added needs to be corrected.

So, you kill two birds with one stone:

1. Have the context for edits at hand

2. Fix the place in the text without deleting a comment.

If the comments are being resolved as described in Comment on pages and blog posts you may view them from the ellipses menu, choose ... > Resolved comments:

If the comments are being deleted you would have to go to the Page History option to find them on the old versions.
