Is there a problem if Confluence server is connected with an external hsm encryption?

We want to use Confluence in a new server but the infraestructure team ask us if there will be a problem if they connect an HSM encryption tool in the server for security policy in the company.

Went to the documentation already but couldn't find anything related to the HSM Encryption or any other one

File system encryption can cause slow performance if the encryption slows disk access. We haven't tested our products in conjunction with HSM encryption so we can't speculate much as to how it will work.

Confluence is easy to evaluate if you would like to try in a test environment which uses a hardware security module, doing so would be the best way to make sure Confluence works well with the specific solution your infrastructure team has in mind.
