How to create a Pull Request automatically to new release branches if I have a hotfix?

Question

I am using Jenkins as my CI tools, I want the ability to automatically create PR for new release versions if there was an hotfix merged to an older release branch.

Lets say my current release version is 1.6.

I created a hot fix on 1.5, I want that either Jenkins or Bitbucket should automatically create a PR from Release 1.5 -> Release 1.6

How can I accomplish this?

Hi Ana,

I am on Bitbucket cloud. I did find solution for server but nothing for cloud.

Bitbucket server has a feature where it merges any hotfix into all children branches, but I did not find anything on cloud.
