Errors after Jira Upgrade from 6.4.7 to 7.0.11

After performing Jira upgrade from 6.4.7 to 7.0.11 (as a first step to finally upgade to 7.8), I cannot access the instance, with a 500 error and Java stack trace:

It looks to me like you have a plugin that is not updated yet. Try starting JIRA in safe mode and then upgrade the plugin. Or remove the plugin that is still using the old API before starting JIRA.
