Under System the Jira Backup create a backup for the server then download the backup file.
I would like to automate this and send the backup file to AWS Glacier does anybody some suggestions on how to do this?
Atlassian keeps backups of Cloud instances for a month I think? If you really need to automate this, it may mean using something like Chrome headless or Selenium or some creative scripting to auth to the system, generate the backup, then come back when the file is ready, pull it, and have the script push to Glacier.
ok I kind of figured it would just be easier to point and click once a month
