I deleted a group (replacing it with a new one since I can't edit the previous groups name). After deleting I browsed to a project role page to re-assign the new group and noticed the old group was still assigned. When I tried to delete it it gives this error.
Having this issue as well. Any workaround?
Same issue here, can't remove them from a JIRA project either.
