Velocity chart not showing committed points

We have just completed Sprint 3 and I just noticed that the velocity chart for sprint 3 is showing Zero committed points. I read somewhere that it’s something related to the sprint start date etc but my sprint is already over now. Is there a way I can fix this so that I can see The committed points as well, if not is there any other tweak. Just wanted to mention that my sprint 2 shows committed and completed points correctly. The problem is with sprint 3

Hello Kavitha,

I understand that this is an old question, but I still would like to provide it an answer in case you still need clarification on this or any other users who might step by.

As you can see in this documentation, the completed bar od the Velocity Chart displays total completed estimates when the sprint ends and any scope changes made after the sprint started are included in this total.

However, the correct estimation must be selected on the board to properly display it:

That been said, if you are using Story Points or Time tracking, you must configure your board (board settings > Estimation) to be estimated in this way, otherwise, no estimation will be displayed in the chart.

I believe that you may have selected the wrong field or the wrong estimation in your board for that specific Sprint, that's why the data was not being displayed.

I am also facing the same problem. I have added estimation - Story Points and Time tracking but still the Grey bar shows ZERO.

@Abhay_Tilwankar In my experience this can happen because of two reasons.

1. You are starting the sprint and then pulling in the stories into the sprint. Committed points won't show up.

2. You are starting the sprint and then estimating the stories in the sprint or adding/changing story points. This will also lead to committed points not showing up correctly.
