Automation Rule to add a comment - Can I use smart values?

Question

Hi, I'm using Automation within Service Desk (not Automation for Jira) and creating a rule that adds a comment to a linked issue whenever it is transitioned. However, I'm not sure I can use smart-values there such as {{#changelog.Key}}{{fromString}}{{/}}. It's actually confusing because of all the Wiki type of formatting which also uses brackets.

I haven't found a way to do this through automation. Unfortunate, to say the least.

You mentioned Automation for JIRA add-on, which is what I use (and has worked fabulously).
