Is it necessary to take backup before re-indexing?

Suchit Kharatmol

Hi Team,

Is it necessary to take the backup before re-indexing? If yes then which backup we should take among Directories, Index snapshot and Database.

Thanks,

Suchit

Hi @Suchit Kharatmol

No, it's not necessary to make a backup before re-indexing your instance.
