How to add comments/details to a Confluence 5.5 task?

Question

Before Confluence 5.5 and the task redesign it seemed possible to add notes on a task.

Now in Confluence 5.5, I can't find a way to add details about a task.

Is there a way to this (hidden feature? plugin?)?

I agree, this is absolutely necessary functionality.  A task that is asking for feedback or response is currently useless as there is no way to capture the associated response.
