one vm server - two different server id's - two different repos

Question

I am operating in  VM environment on a closed network

I installed bitbucket on the VM -

when i connect to 100.100.12.15:7990 (example not real ip just an example)

from : 100.100.112.4 I get server ID A

but when I connect to 100.100.12.15:7990 (same ip as above)

from : 100.100.12.170 I get server ID B

so I have what looks like two different servers running on one VM - If i shutdown the one actual bitbucket instance than you can connect for neither of above machines since the server is shutdown)

I want to get rid of the one bogus like server and be able to connect the only server so that I get to same repo from everywhere.

any help or suggestions are appreciated.

update - I just realized this is a VM environment issue.

It turns out that when I shutdown the bitbucket server I can no longer access from VM A but can still access from PC B

So there really are two bitbucket servers running

somehow due to VM thinking they are both running on same IP address but they are actually not
