1. Ran upgrade check -- removed all plugins that were incompatible

(running Centos 6.3, in a VM)

Tried the main page, got the normal front page, but when trying to login we get this error:

Luckily since it was a VM I reverted to a snapshot taken just before the upgrade. This symptom is repeatable.
