I am trying to remove un-used request types from a Service Desk project and can't find a way to do so. Is there a trick to it? Or can this not be done?
You should go to the project settings, choose Request Types and delete the required request type:
BTW, if you think you might want the request type later you could simply hide the request type from the portal. When you delete any existing issues of that type will remain in the system so you can find and customer can still see/act on them.
Thank you, it was a display issue, I had to scroll to the right to see it. Aiyiyi. Happy Monday!
how to hide this. if i delete, old data can lost field request type and meet problem.
in my case it does not leave me, it remains thinking but it does not erase it
it indicates it as eliminated but, it still shows
I have the same issue. Can someone please look into this?
If the Issue type belonging to the Request has been deleted, a Request can no longer be deleted. Just add the Issue type and then delete the Request.
