Upon trying to save a newly created page, i receive an error:
We have jira & confluence hosted on the same host:
* jira runs on external interface with https://jira...
* confluence runs on internal interface with http://confluence.../confluence
Hi Marc,
I would start by having a look at the following:
Can you confirm if you access via the IP you have the same issue?
If the above also do not help, the next step would be to review your Confluence Server Logs at the time you try to save. You should see an error message there that will give us some hint as to what might be occurring.
Regards,
Shannon
Hi Shannon,
the two links you sent me did not help and using the plain ip address doesn't help either...
Here is the logging line appearing when trying to save a newly created page:
2018-01-30 16:07:02,967 WARN [http-nio-8090-exec-19] [common.security.jersey.XsrfResourceFilter] passesAdditionalBrowserChecks Additional XSRF checks failed for request: https://confluence.ids-logistik.de/confluence/rest/analytics/1.0/publish/bulk , origin: null , referrer: http://confluence.ids.net/confluence/pages/createpage.action , credentials in request: true , allowed via CORS: false -- referer: http://confluence.ids.net/confluence/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=~mrink | url: /confluence/rest/analytics/1.0/publish/bulk | traceId: f6f63afceaf61cd5 | userName: mrink
Thanks for help!
Marc
This is just a warning, but seems related to Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection changes in Atlassian REST.
Do you happen to see any other lines in the logs that are error messages? They will start with ERROR instead of WARN and finish with a Caused by: statement.
sorry - no other log messages indicate an ERROR/WARN messages in the log.
Do you have any other idea?
thank you for your help and regards
