How to block documents in the office connector

Franky_9trjfo

Hi,

we are looking for a way to attach a Word-Document in Confluence, that ist blocked for other users, when someone is editing it. We tried the "office connector", but this software allows "multi editing" at the same time. Is there a possibility to block a document or another Tool that can do this?

Thanks a lot

Frank

Hello Frank,

This is not possible in Confluence but we do have a feature request for it:

• CONFSERVER-2841 Provide locking for attachments

You may also find this request useful:

• CONFSERVER-40677 Show if attachment is in edit by Edit in Office feature by someone else

Please vote on these requests if you would like to see them implemented and feel free to comment there with your usage case.

Regards,

Shannon
