is it possible to search issues in the Issue Navigator which has attachments? In simple or advanced mode?

You need a plugin, or calculated custom fields. Try: https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-hasAttachments([fileextension])
