JQL similar or like for assignee

Hi All,

Is there any way we can search similar / like using assignee field

example: assignee ~ "*name"

If you have a plugin like JQL Tricks, you can do this. In JQL Tricks, you will do something like:

assignee in userMatches("job.*")

No, wildcard searches can only be done on text fields.
