Bitbucket installation - setup wizard not starting

Hi,

Having issues with installing bitbucket.

Setup using zip file:

Bitbucket\5.6.1\bin > start-bitbucket.bat /no-search

i see below. See a screen popup & vanish, but setup wizard not starting.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Below is what i see:

"Starting Atlassian Bitbucket

Starting Bitbucket webapp at http://localhost:7990

If you cannot access Bitbucket within 3 minutes, or encounter other issues, check the troubleshooting guide at:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BitbucketServerKB/Troubleshooting+Installation

Bitbucket can be stopped by typing Ctrl+C in its console window."

 

When starting using exe:

It takes a few mins & get this messagae. Also dont see "atlassian-bitcucket.log" file so no log info.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi! You said you're installing Bitbucket using the Zip file, can you confirm if you have followed all the steps explained at Install Bitbucket Server on Windows from a zip file.

Note that this option requires you to manually install files and configure some system properties. It gives you the most control over the install process, but it's not the easiest.

The recommended approach is to use the installer, is there a reason why you can not use it? You can download it from www.atlassian.com/software/bitbucket/download.

The instructions can be found at Install Bitbucket Server on Windows.

If you want to continue with your current installation, can you let us know:

• Did you follow the steps in the documentation?
• Which Windows version are you using?
• What happens after you click Finish?
