How do I backdate a Confluence Post in the new interface?

Question

Atlassian documentation still says that Confluence posts can be backdated (only during the creation of the post, which is nothing new).

However, since upgrading to the new Confluence interface, the place where the post date used to live is gone.

So, how do I actually backdate a post?

I do not see any instructions anywhere in the Atlassian documentation, and I do not see any community questions/answers that are recent enough to have been with the new interface.

Hi Erica,

I understand! Actually it's the same feature request. I know it's older but you can see comments from people recently that are saying it used to be possible and now with the new look is no longer possible.

Let's use this one to track the request for the feature to return to Confluence post New Experience since it has a lot of votes on it and recent activity asking for it to return. I labeled it with the proper labels to get the attention of the team. I'll send it to them now as well so they can provide some sort of response on it.

The article you suggested doesn't seem like what I was talking about. I am trying to set the post date when creating the post. Not going back and editing the post date after the fact.

This is something that was available in Confluence cloud until the new interface was introduced. Does this mean that the functionality was silently removed with the introduction of the new interface?

Hi Erica,

The article you saw might have been for Confluence Server, and when you mention the new interface, I think you might be on Confluence Cloud instead.

At this time it's not possible to backdate posts in Confluence Cloud, but you can follow this feature request:

* CONFCLOUD-11740
