Importing master data into JIRA

I've managed to import issues from other platforms into JIRA using a .csv file.

However, I now have a long list of values to be loaded into a custom field. These values are master data that will populate a drop down box.

Is there a way to load master data into JIRA? How?

Probably the easiest is more CSV, with your options in twice (two columns, duplicated)

Create a temporary empty project and import the CSV, using column 1 for summary and 2 for the field you want to add the options to.  It will create new options.
