How to Wrap Long Line in Jira Code Block Macro?

Hi,

Can you show me how to wrap long line in Jira Code Block Macro?

If I write long code in code block macro in Jira, it will not wrap and it employs a horizontal scroll bar, and I have to move the scroll bar to see the contents. This is not very convenient.

Contrariwise, forcing code wrapping makes many code blocks darn near impossible to read. Very often context matters as to whether it's helpful or destructive to wrap any particular block.

I would oppose unconditionally wrapping blocks. Perhaps adding a user preference or a button to wrap/not-wrap to each code-block display.

And, of course, the underlying problem is that code blocks are really just too narrow.
