We have updated the banner from the database and it is working now.

Hi Rohini,

You can add an announcement banner in the following place:

Configuring an announcement banner

* Choose 
 > System. 
* Select User Interface > Announcement banner in the System panel below.
* Enter the required text in the Announcement field.
* Select the required Visibility Level for the banner.
* Click the Set Banner button.

Depending on the visibility level selected, the banner will become visible throughout JIRA.
