How can I update a custom field value automatically for a Sub-Task by pulling value from parent?

Our teams create user stories (issue type) and sub task(issue type). I have a custom field to identify the team that will be working. When a user creates a sub-task, I want the team field to update automatically pulling the value from the user story (parent issue)

You can do this using the Power Scripts add-on.

@Chris Lovvorn, Take a look at Jira Misc Workflow Extensions.  Almost a required add-on for Jira installs.  It can handle this and much more.
