I am planning on performing a greenfield on-premise install of Jira, Confluence, Crowd and BitBucket.
I will be using Linux for the underlying infrastructure but I have a few questions on the "Recommended" Linux distribution and components to use with each service.
a) What Linux distro is considered the "recommended" version? RHEL? CentOS? Ubuntu?
b) Which current version of the Java Runtime Environment should I be using? 1.8?
c) Should I be using Apache for my web server, or can nginx be substituted?
