What's the best way to track amount of work DONE using the Kanban board workflow?

Question

Our team is too large and handling both new features and production issues, making Scrum not really suitable.

We like the Kanban board so far.

1. How do you estimate work to be done and view work completed in the next 1-2 weeks so you can figure out a release date target?

- Looking to show progress as well, ie, how much the team has completed

2. Is there a way to setup sprints in combination with Kanban (is this Scrumban?)

Hi Barbara,

As I mentioned in my previous response, Portfolio for JIRA would probably be the best fit for forecasting release dates and validating how much work can your team actually complete in a target release.

I reviewed Kanplan,..looks like its a Kanban backlog... Still wondering how folks track work complete and how much work can get done for planning and reporting purposes. Thanks
