Can Watchers be set from the Detail Issue View in boards?

In the Issue Detail View board configuration screen, Watchers does not seem to be an available field add option within any of the feature sections (Field name, Date fields, People, Links). Is it somehow possible to add the Watchers field into the board Issue Detail View?

Not within detail issue view but a workaround is to type "." and then "watchers" to bring up the watchers dialog for the issue.
