Hello,

Starting from Bitbucket Data Center & Server 5.10 (release notes are here), it is possible to configure Bitbucket to receive email notifications for merged pull requests.

The Pull request notifications page provides all the available options and explains how to set up these notifications to be batched or immediately sent as well as which notifications are always immediately sent.

Cheers,
Caterina

P.S. I know it's been some time since you posted this, but I still hope this answer will be beneficial to somebody in the future.
