Hi all,
I am getting a very annoying space filling gap with text "None" on my backlog view ...
Something minor I am sure to sort ... but very annoying!
Any ideas?

Check the "Card Layout" settings under the board configuration. An admin has probably added a custom field in the "Backlog" view and most issues has the value "None" set on that field.
You can remove the field from the view if you are a board administrator.
