How to launch a script function before to push CREATE botton from Jira request?

Hello,

We need to launch a script function before to push CREATE botton from Jira request.

Why we need this? We know that it's possible after to push CREATE botton but we need before to push this botton.

Actually we need to analice (with 2 departures : OK or KO) the file attchment on the same time that we to attatch, we can't to hope to the finish for the Jira request because we can't lose those minutes, if the file attach has a error code, the analice will be before that the user need to complete all the customfields of the request .

Please, any ideas on how to achieve this?

Before you click in the CREATE BUTON , where is the attachment file ?

Hey Oscar,

You may be able to do this from editing your Workflow.

If you go to the workflow on the "Create" transition you should be able to re-order the events and have the Script run before the issue is actually created (move "Creates the issue originally")
