Is it possible to turn off the checkbox "Notify watchers" by default for Confluence?

Question

All my colleagues are stressed about the e-mail notification from confluence. The problem is, the checkbox "Notify watchers" is default on. If some colleague forget to turn it off, he notifies the whole team with not importat informations.

Could be possible for the admin user to turn the checkbox "Notify watchers" by default off?

Thank you

Hi,

As an alternative, you can try a free add-on to do that.
