Sending email to JIRA ('support@veneka.atlassian.net) from an external email system (exchange)

Question

I want to forward my support emails from work support email account to a JIRA email account ('support@veneka.atlassian.net) but I get a bounce notification from JIRA email address  with the following message ... "This message could not be delivered. "

Why is JIRA rejecting emails from external systems

I have configured thje mail handlers but still email to the JIRA email address are still failing.
