how to create custom reports in jira using rest api?

Hi,

I have to create simple list type of charts with the data from jira fields and custom fields. Currently, I'm using AIO-reports plugin to generate such charts. But I want to create same charts(using rest api is prefered)and display them in JIRA/Confluence dashboard without using any licensed add-on.

Can anyone please tell me how can I do this.

Dear @Aparna Daram,

you can create nearly any custom report with the API. With the rest calls you can retrieve any information.

The only you will need is time and loads of calories (consumed by your brain).
