Start progress for an other person

Hi,

is it possible to 'Start Progress' of an JIRA issues for an other Person?

If any assignee forgot to klick on the 'Start Progress' button, i want to do it for that Person. Is this possible?

Hello,

There is no right answer.
Usally, yes you can do it because there is no restriction.
But it's possible that your organisation add conditions on transition, or maybe if you do so, you will be the assignee.

So it depends on the settings of the workflow you are talking about.
