How to open PowerPoint file that is attached to issue in JIRA iPad app?

Hi,

I want to open an attached file to an issue which is a power point file on my iPad using JIRA iPad app. When I touch on the attached file popup shows up and says Can't open this PPTX file with Select an app button. When I click on the select an app button it doesn't do anything and sometime later app crashes..... Is it not possible to open PPTX file? or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I have Keynote installed and still the full screen popup shows up saying 'Can't open this PPTX file'.....

Yes the file opens fine from other apps like Gmail or Facebook Messenger and etc... PowerPoint was already installed before opening..... and doesn't work.....

Hi,

You shouldn't have any problems opening a pptx file on an iPad.

* Have you tried another iPad with Keynote intalled?
* Does it work if you try to open a .pptx file that is not in JIRA?
* Does it work on an iPhone?
* Does it work if you install PowerPoint?
