How do I get all bugs to show the field for linked issues

Shawn kirsch

It's pretty annoying that I can't relate an issue quickly.

press, e, scroll down to linked issues, type in issue.

once there is an issue already we can click the plus and type. I would like all bugs to have this field even if there are no linked issues.

JIRA doesn't show fields without data except in the edit screen

Shawn kirsch

this sucks.

can you suggest a faster way to relate bugs. the process already sucks. Half the time it can't even find my other bugs even thought I typed in a word in the summary.
