When i have a document attched to an issue can I save my changes here?

I receive a document for review attached to an Issue. I open the document, I review it and make changes. When I save the document is it updating the one in the Issue or do I have to save it to the hard drive and then drag a new copy into the issue?

You will need to save it and drag the new copy into the issue. Direct attachment updating/save is possible if you have GoEdit or some other similar plugin
