Custom Script for a transition post function

Hi,

I do not know scripting, at all. I haven't purchased a plugin for scripting yet. We are Cloud based. Any suggestions on the best?

Also, I would like some help creating a custom script.

I would like it to auto assign based on component and reporter

Example: IF component is "Institutional" AND IF reporter is a specific "user name" assign to a specific "user name"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jira Misc Workflow Extensions

ScriptRunner for Jira

Both are great (ScriptRunner is a must have if you need complex scripting) and they complement each other, it's important to read the limitations of the cloud plugin because they behaviour is different between the cloud and server versions (because of atlassian framework):
