get-metadata macro inside profile macro

Pongsakorn Jirachanchaisiri_lu5ssd

Hello,

I create some page on confluence and

I get metadata value (Staff ID) such as AB12345 from Comala workflow

and I want it to refer in profile to show my name and email. So, I did

{profile: user={get-metadata: name=StaffID} }

It doesn't work. Somebody help me please, with many thanks.

Hi,

A workaround for your case could be using value references if you want to show the profile info of the user behind the StaffID value. This would only be suitable if you want to show the profile info in all the pages were the workflow is applied.

Adding the following page-header macro (or in a set-message macro) to the workflow would show the user profile info of StaffID user:

{pageheader}
    {profile: user=@StaffID@ }
{pageheader}

Hope that helps

Pablo
