Do we have option to add "Ready for Release" status under releases.

Released

No, those three release categories are fixed. You'd need to hack core code to change them.
Nic is right, there is no way to customize that.
We need to get a full release management solution such as Cycle Control in order to have a full control over the release life cycle.
In addition to single project, It can as well do multi-project releases.
