Bitbucket Code Search EXACT method call

We are currently using this beta feature in our repos. However, I can't search for a method exactly like foo('a',b,c). I believe this is due to the stripping of all special characters in the search query that the doc states. However, this isn't very useful if I get every instance of foo but not the params with it. Is there a way to do this that I am not seeing?

Same problem here. Without the ability to search for an exact phrase, the search tool becomes more or less useless, IMHO.

use less search in bitbucket. At least they should have given some escape character.

I want to search item-slot but getting 100 pages having itemslot.

Same problems with Data Center and Server 8.7. There’s no exact match or escaping. It translates a quoted string and matches individual words. Thousands of results then need manually eyeballed. Basically, the advanced search is useless.

2025, eight years later and this is a (not quite) fully implemented feature, and there is still not way to do the search necessary in a code base.
