Issue while creating a jq for a filter

Hello,

we'd need your help to resolve an issue.. We need a filter for a specific project, related to a specific sprint. We tried in some ways but the result is that the jq filters all the bug and task of the whole project instead of filter only the ones related to the specific sprint.. Could you please help me? Here pasted our jq that is not woring properly:

project = "name of the project"  AND Sprint = 4  AND type = Bug OR type = Task   AND status != Completed ORDER BY priority, status, updated

It's the operater precedence, your "or" is not joining the clauses in the way you think.

What your query actually says is  (Project, sprint 4, bug), or tasks, and completed

Try explicitly boxing the "or" out:

project = "name of the project"  AND Sprint = 4  AND (type = Bug OR type = Task) AND status != Completed
