How can I grant access to an ext external confluence user?

Question

How do I give a confluence user from an external organization access to my confluence cloud without having to give them an account in my confluence instance?

Put another way, does one need a unique confluence account to access unique confluence url's?

Thank you for the response, I was looking into anonymous access but I need to control access to the content. Meaning I don't want just anybody to be able to view the information on that page. I am trying to share content with a customer, and they would not appreciate the content being open for just anyone to see. How can I keep that private?
