Can anyone provide me JIRA Admin Guide with how to migrate projects from one instance to other

vittal kovuru

I am looking for step by step instructions on how to migrate project from one JIRA instance to another?

Hi Vittal, are you referring to JIRA Server or Cloud? That information is available in our Knowledge Base:

• From Cloud to Cloud, single project import is not yet possible as it's a restricted function in Cloud. As a workaround, you can achieve this result by performing the steps How to migrate projects from one JIRA Cloud to another.
• From Cloud or Server to Server you can find the instructions at Restoring a project from backup.
• From Server to Cloud follow the steps at How to import a project from JIRA Server to JIRA Cloud.

I hope this helps you, Vittal!

Cheers,

Ana
