How to add custom "Chart by" fields in the display options for the JIRA chart macro

I would like to sort and plot some of my data from fields I created in JIRA.

It looks like you are on the right track. I was able to "Chart by" a custom field I had created in JIRA. If it is not working for you, please let us know what functionality is missing/not working.
