Does an unsaved page leave any trace that can be restored?

A user copied a page, then modified it, and after a considerable amount of work he tried to save the page but received an error message that this operation is not allowed (he did not report the full message text).

I know there is little chance but ... Is there any possibility to restore the content?

Thanks Ferenc - yes we checked that but the draft was saved in a very early state. Most of the work is lost, drafts stopped working at some point of time when the page was still open for editing. So, we wondered if there could be something in some kind of cache but probably that's not the case.
